I love to bring my knowledge to those who wish to learn. These magnificient creatures give us so much joy and peace.
I have been riding and training for 40 years. I started riding when I was 9 in Wayland, MA with Andrea Kilburn, an accomplished Grand Prix jumper rider. Right after my first lesson on a great horse I was hooked. After a while I was put on her toughest horse and the horse proceeded to run away with me through the woods, which only made me more determined to become a great rider.
I acquired my first horse shortly after, then went onto ride with Lainey Johnson of Mainstone Stables in Wayland, MA. With Lainey I have successfully competed in Hunters winning many championships.
I went onto my current discipline in Eventing, still under the instruction of Lainey, where I have competed through Training level with many horses for clients and a few of my own.
I started teaching under Lainey when I was 15 years old then soon after went on to earn my Massachusetts Instructors License. Simultaneously, I completed through level C3 in Pony Club.
After moving to Sturbridge, MA, I taught at Canterberry Acres, Wild Aire Farm, Stepping Stone Stables, and eventually with the help of Laura Maki we opened and ran our own facility in Brimfield, MA called Halcyon Spring Stables where teaching was a daily pleasure.
I train with Hilda Donahue of Winter Park, FL she helps me continue my education and better my skills with dressage and jumping.
